I have this thing called a Digital Video Creator 150. Its an external device that basically converts composite rca plugs into usb that runs into the Capture Program For Dazzle Digital Video Creator - VideoHelp Forum. Dazzle DVC 150 Digital Video Creator. If you buy it, just leave Pinnacle installed and ignore the program completely I was thinking about getting a Pinnacle dazzle dvc 150 Tuner, because the TV Tuner ddazzle kinda be an added bonus that I might use in the future – although the salesperson told me that the quality may not be as good.
I purchased this product from Amazon.com approx. 6/23/05, it was shipped and received shortly after. I installed the program according to the instuctions and proceeded to transfer some home movies to DVD. It was working well and produced a couple of DVD's. However, on about the third try my only option in the Setup/Capture device was DV Camcorder, whereas before the options were DV Camcorder and Video Creator 150b.
I tried to connect the USB cable on 4 different ports on 2 different computers both with WindowsXP with the same results,
(disk is not formatted. Windows cannot read frome this disc. The disc might be corrupted or it could be using a format that is not compatible with Windows. Try reconnecting the USB Cable, if you get the same message, replace the device).
I tried disconnecting the USB cable on all 4 ports with the same message. My emails to Pinnacle did not produce any answers to my problem so I returned the package to Amazon.com as defective and they sent me another right away. This one seems to be working great except for an unrelated problem that I am trying to resolve.
thank you,
Jack Rutledge
